Triton Tactical

After much research into tactical equipment, the logic is simple, make it fast, make it strong, make it secure. When faced with a tactical situation, this becomes more important as your reaction time has to be kept to a minimum. This applies to both combat and for personal defense, and it becomes more critical for personal defense if the user has little or no prior training.

Think for a moment if you are faced with a threat in your home, the first weapons you take would be baseball bats, golf clubs, or kitchen knives. Now, try practicing hitting someone in a confined space with a baseball bat, or even if you have a lot of space eg. In your living room, you would have to swing back before attacking the threat with a forward swing. This takes time and sometimes, you do not have this few seconds to spare. The reason why these aren’t effective weapons at close range is because they are designed for open spaces, and certainly not designed for tactical use.

The Triton is made from Malaysian cane, strong, light with slight elastic properties; its thick 1.1/4” diameter is the most suitable size for a sturdy grip. Accurate boring creates custom shafts at the head where three 12.9 Grade steel bolts at over 3” long are custom torqued into the shafts creating a weighted, super-dense tip. The weight distribution is phenomenal and the weighted head is dense enough to shatter bones (Head weight+velocity), and velocity can be easily gained as the baton is sufficiently lightweight. In fact, the Triton can move in and attack even before a baseball bat can complete its back swing.

Custom wrapped Babolat™ rubber grips ensure a secure and confident grip on the handle as well as for shock resistance (available for Trainer, Tactical, Stealth and Premium Stealth models only).

For training use, the Triton is a great baton for weapons training for any martial art you’re practicing, as well as a great wrist and forearm trainer as the weighted head strengthens your wrist with each resistance, building core strength and allowing you to deliver swifter, more accurate attacks. For personal defense, as threats begin to escalate, it’s a good idea to keep one at home for emergencies.

There are 5 variations currently available, the Core, Trainer, Tactical, Stealth, and Premium Stealth in both 16” and 24” versions. The Core is the basic model that is excellent for hardcore training and for those who like it raw. Trainer and Tactical are basic Tritons in white and black respectively with an extended steel head for maximum damage on impact. Stealth has specially countersunk heads so no protruding steel ends can be seen, so it looks like a regular baton, and the Premium Stealth has special padded rubber grip for premium comfort and to eliminate slipping even in wet conditions.
