Over 150 kilos of hardwood construction timber in 13 blocks, one new design.
Going back to the drawing board required multiple revisions. The ultimate solution had to be able to withstand unconventional loads, and an unconventional lifespan. Nightfall was designed to be transportable by one person, and one person only. How does one carry a 150 kilo bench? The result is a totally re-engineered design, the ability to assemble and disassemble on demand, and yet maintain its solid structural integrity unlike any other.

Custom made grooves rely on its weight and strength to prevent movement and therefore eliminates the need for nails to lock it down. This grooved design also enables multiple configurations from bench to low-lying table, or as a small guest platform bed. Additional vents on both sides serves as storage for coasters and other accessories that is hidden from view. 2 toned lacquer of Dark Oak and Walnut creates a dynamic color scheme on this Balau and Kempas hardwood timber structure.
