The
idea that started it all. Custom made furnishings are meticulously
designed taking into account ergonomics and joint strength to ensure
that each product is not only unique but will last from this generation
to the next. Utilizing classic Japanese joinery techniques and state
of the art materials such as Titebond®III, custom hex bolts and
stainless steel screws, or even UV resistant wood stain and polyurethane
finishing ensures that each product looks and performs just like it
should for years to come.
Creating
small items such as industrial strength tables, chairs and benches
is great. Creating something on a much bigger scale is a real challenge.
BLVK Carpentry utilizes a lot of the custom joinery such as xJoint,
but what if we really put it to the test and use it for something
bigger? That ought to really test the limits don’t you think?
And then BLVK Construct was born. Drafting and redrafting each design,
each joint meticulously hand-drawn and calculated before it goes into
careful production, load bearing points are calculated for shear strength
and experience with industrial-strength solutions makes every project
triple secured with the latest components and customized fasteners.
