Nothing changes

The worst thing about emotional highs is the absolute lows,
you go around changing things,
you meet different people,
you do different things, be a different person,
and you come back to this.

Things don't dissolve instantly,
it never goes away.
Its like the effervescent tablet,
you just have to wait.

But what am I waiting for?
Nothing. Really.

I'm back in square one, in the same place,
I'm not going anywhere.
I need to find more things to do,
this doesn't cut it.
